My name is Jada. I am a 31-year-old wife and mother of two toddlers, residing on the Gold Coast in Australia.
My father, who was an artist, instilled in me a love for creativity from a young age. Throughout my life, I have always been drawn to hands-on activities, including sports, renovating, creating, and art.
During the postpartum period after my second child, my passion for art was reignited, and my artistic talents were reawakened. I have found that working with plaster as the foundation of my artwork allows me to sculpt and add texture and depth to my pieces. While it may not be a traditional medium for many artists, I am constantly amazed by the intricate textures and depths that can be achieved with plaster.
My artwork serves as an expression of my love for Australia, the places I have traveled, and the destinations that many of us aspire to visit and explore.

Here’s me, holding my dads self portrait he painted almost 15 years ago. Growing up, I was always surrounded by art.
My dad was an artist, and he encouraged us to pursue all things creative whether we were naturally good at it or not.
My dad believed everyone had artistic abilities, and although it’s taken me a few years to rediscover mine I’m so glad to be carrying on his work through Little Gaga.
@ivanastrbacalfonso came over to shoot my family, and my art. When she heard my story of my dad she insisted on including his paintings too. It was such a special experience and has ensured his legacy lives on through my little family biz too.
